EPOS Screen Design

This project was designed and developed for B&Q Stores and other sister companies, EPOS are electronic point of Sale which are used in stores at checkout and payments, this is  a web application but not on browser, it opens as a separate application, the application was attached to scanner where the user (colleague at checkout desk) can build up a list of items by scanning each item, some of the major features of this EPOS application was scanning the items and create a basket for customer, make payments by different modes (cash , card, coupons), print transaction receipt, do returns for returned items by customer.

 

My role was to understand the requirement by coordinating with Business, understand the user requirement and pain areas by user interaction, create wireframes as per the requirement, design walkthrough to user and stakeholders.
